The Nothing ever happens in North Berwick Thrillers
A couple of pints. That was the plan. On the face of it a simple objective but Scottish drinking plans were fluid and complex affairs. That aside, how far off course could the quest for a couple of beers in the quiet coastal town of North Berwick go? Two lagers, an assault on Somalia in search of pirates, the involvement of gangsters, terrorists, National Security Services and a packet of crisps please. That is surely stretching it a bit far. Ok, forget the crisps then.
Please drink responsibly because even in a small town, like North Berwick, where nothing ever happens an impulsive approach to alcohol can result in some seriously weird and unintended consequences.
A tale of drink, drunks and National Security.
The age old battle of Good V Evil reaches North Berwick
Some say Satan is a big, red, ugly bastard with hooves, horns and a massive
heating bill while others might support Rangers. When a Catholic Priest, with
exorcism on his mind, visits North Berwick he sees a Masonic plot which he
believes will bring about the end of times.
The idea that a quiet little town in East Lothian, where nothing ever happens,
could be the location of the final battle between Good and Evil seems a little
far-fetched but what do you believe?
A tale of drink, drunks and cosmic conflict.
